Swindon Town are in the mix for a play-off place in League Two this season.
The Robins are currently 8th in the table, sitting level on points with Stockport who sit inside the play-off places.
There are several teams vying for a top seven finish in the fourth tier, but Swindon will be looking to repeat the feat after coming close to promotion last season.
Semi-final defeat to Port Vale ensured the club maintained their position in the fourth division for another campaign.
But the team has bounced back from that disappointment and has kept pace at the front of the table this year to keep their promotion hopes alive.
Perhaps some famous faces will turn up to the County Ground between now and the end of the season in order to show their support for the team’s play-off push.
Here are the famous people who supposedly support Swindon…
Daisy May Cooper
The BAFTA-award winning actress is best known for her role in the show This Country on BBC Three, for which she was awarded the honour.
The comedian accepted the prize in a Swindon Town dress, showing to the world her support for the team.
She has also appeared on comedy show panels such as Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Taskmaster.
She has also managed a side at the County Ground as part of a charity game in which her team played against a Swindon Legends XI in 2022.
Willie Carson
Carson is best known for his career as a jockey in horse racing, which he competed in until 1996 at the age of 54.
Following his racing career, the Swindon-native took on the role as Chairman of the club in 2001, a position he held for six years.
During that time, he oversaw one promotion and one relegation, leaving the team in the third tier following a top three division in League Two in the prior campaign.
Carson also appeared in the 2011 edition of I’m A Celeb in which he earned a fifth place finish.
