Yes, Leicester City are already down. Take the time to laugh now, rival fans - because we'll be back! In all seriousness, we should be looking ahead right now. And maybe even getting excited by another hopefully fruitful Championship campaign. I'm reaching, I know. But at least next year shouldn't be anything like as painful as this season. The Foxes might even score some goals, win more than four games and get promoted somehow. Either way, a major overhaul is expected for the roster. So watch your backs, City stars! You may be expendable!
In the meantime before we get to 2025/26, LCFC have a few remaining games to complete. I know none of us in the Blue Army are anticipating these nonentity mathces with glee. Though they hold a special purpose and opportunities for many up-and-coming City prospects. And what an achievement and inspiration it would surely be to make your Premier League debut as a teenager. So who exactly are these exciting young Leicester players expected to make their respective English top flight debuts?
One good thing we can undoubtedly say about Ruud van Nistelrooy in spite of an absolutely calamitous tenure, is that he refused to ignore King Power prospects. And, if reporting is accurate along with Foxes of Leicester's expectations, LCFC have an impressive Under-21s side containing gems.
And this excitement could eventually turn into rich pickings for the East Midlanders, or their currently much richer rivals in the EPL. FoL is glad the club has offered opportunities to the likes of Jake Evans and Jeremy Monga. But which starlets could be next for a baptism of premiership fire? According to the below report, quite a few PL debuts are predicted:
"It could be a first opportunity for summer signing Michael Golding to make a Premier League squad. The attacking midfielder travelled with the first-team group to Wolves on Saturday.Equally, full-backs Jayden Joseph and Bade Aluko and central midfielders Henry Cartwright and Sammy Braybrooke have been in first-team training recently."Leicestershire Live
