The Daily Acca: An 8/1 Irish Treble

Leg 1 Galway United (90mins) @ 2/13.00 (19:45)

Galway United earned promotion to the Irish Premier Division by winning the First Division last season, and they have taken to the top flight like a duck to water.

After 17 games they sit in fourth place with 27 points, and they head to Richmond Park on a nine match unbeaten run, with their two latest outings being victories.

St Pat's finished third last term, but things haven't been quite so good this time around, as they start the evening sitting seventh of 10 - just five points above the bottom two.

I am surprised that 2/13.00 is available for the away win here, as the hosts are winless in five in the league, and their two latest home matches saw them lose to Derry and Shelbourne.

Leg 2 Dundalk to Win or Draw @ 10/111.91 (19:45)

Dundalk are bottom of the Irish Premier Division but they have avoided defeat in six of their eight home fixtures, and I think they are good value to make that seven out of nine this evening.

The visitors to Oriel Park are Derry City, and last season's runners-up currently sit in second place once again. Their win rate for their last 10 outings sits down at only 40% though, and it's just two victories from nine away games this term.

After losing their opening two home fixtures of the campaign, the hosts are unbeaten in six in front of their own fans, and they didn't even concede a goal during that period.

Leg 3 Shelbourne (90mins) @ 8/151.53 (19:45)

Shelbourne currently lead the way in the Irish top flight, as Damien Duff looks to steer them to their first title win since 2006. They currently hold a six point lead at the top of the division, and I can't see them failing to beat Sligo Rovers at their home venue of Tolka Park.

The away side are eighth of 10, with 19 points from a possible 51, and it's now just one win in 10 for them - five of which ended in defeat. They did manage to draw their last two on the road, but the Shels are in form with three victories from their last three, and they have won five of their nine here so far this term.

All things considered, despite their odds of 8/151.53, I still make the leaders a good bet on home turf.
