THE CONCLUSION OF ANOTHER SEASON OF "ALL THE COLOURS OF SPORT" | OneFootball

The Rossoneri held this season's final edition of "All the Colours of Sport" on Wednesday 11 May 2022. AC Milan created this project alongside Banco BPM to instigate a dialogue amongst secondary schools on the positive values of sport and to tackle prejudice and discrimination.

In the final meeting of 2021/22, connecting from Milanello, Men's First team player Pierre Kalulu spoke to pupils of the Capirola High School in Leno (in the province of Brescia) via videocall. Kalulu spoke to a French class on the topics and equality and inclusion.

The five meetings of "All the Colours of Sport" throughout the season have seen the involvement of over 1,000 school pupils, who have diligently engaged with the Rossoneri's representatives as they shared their life experiences. The discussions focused on the importance of combining study and sport and being able to live - both in football and daily life - completely free of inequality to be able to express one's passion within a team as best possible and in complete safety.

"I started playing football when I was five years old," Kalulu told the pupils. "The support of my family was essential for me to follow my dream. This year, I have experienced racism in the stadium for the first time and it was a horrible moment: I'm very proud to be part of a family and a Club that is committed to fight every kind of discrimination. I am, however, really pleased that Women's Serie A is going professional. I think it's a positive development, which will bring more interest to the league and will surely satisfy the players."

As well as Kalulu, fellow men's First Team players Alessandro Florenzi and Matteo Gabbia have taken part in the meetings, as did women's First Team players Laura Giuliani and Laia Codina.

The "All the Colours of Sport" project promotes AC Milan's values, which are laid out by the Club's RespAct manifesto for social equity, equality and inclusivity. Furthermore, the Club's Education directorate aims to help equip the younger generations with the knowledge, awareness and tools they need to recognise and address relevant issues, promoting inclusiveness and tolerance through campaigns that take concrete action to initiate a cultural transformation.
