But who are the others coaches clubs have stumped up big sums for?
Had just won the treble at Inter when Real Madrid paid a reported €8m fee to the Italian giants to take the Special One to the Bernabéu.
Sporting dug deep to prise Amorim away from Braga in 2020 and it seems to be working, with the Lisbon-based club on course for their first league title since 2002.
Controversy struck when Rodgers left Celtic for Leicester halfway through the 2018/19 season, but the Bhoys were at least well compensated for the deal.
Chelsea paid an astonishing €15m to snatch Villas-Boas from Porto way back in 2011 and he went on to last just 40 matches. The fee remained the most expensive ever paid for a coach for a lot longer.
