Eight different clubs feature players on this list, as Atlético Mineiro, Grêmio and Corinthians claimed two spots in our best XI.
Four clubs did not play this week. Ceará v Bahia and Atletico-PR v Vasco have been postponed until 29 August.
Here are the best performers from the 15th round.
Atlético Mineiro defeated Paraná 2-0 in round 15 in large part to a fantastic performance from Victor. The 35-year-old stood tall in goal as he faced 21 shots and made eight saves en route to a clean sheet.
Walter Kannemann inspired Grêmio to a 2-1 come from behind win over São Paulo FC. Kannemann sprinted back and made an incredible goal-line clearance to deny SPFC a two-goal lead. Moments later, Grêmio equalised.
Fluminense’s Gilberto and Atlético Mineiro’sLeonardo Silva both scored goals for their teams and were integral parts of their respective backlines that earned clean sheets.
Danilo Avelar, on loan from Torino, played very well on the left side in just his third match for Corinthians and made an incredible clearance on the goal line to prevent a sure Cruzeiro goal.
Juninho scored the goal of the round to lead América-MG to an upset 2-1 win over Internacional.
Éverton continued his incredible season with a man-of-the-match performance in Grêmio’s victory over Sao Paulo, as he scored two beautiful goals.
Willian Farias gave rhythm to the midfield and provided the assist in Vitória’s 1-0 win over Sport.
Rodrygo showed why Real Madrid have agreed to a €54m deal for the 17-year-old. He torched Flamengo’s defense all night and came up with an individual move and assist on Gabriel’s goal.
Kieza played with confidence, had the game’s only assist, and created Botafogo’s main chances in their win over Chapecoense.
Romero scored both goals in Corinthians’ victory over Cruzeiro.
