Happy Friday! There are three more Euro 2020 fixtures coming your way and here’s what happened yesterday, and what to look out for later.
The atmosphere during Denmark v Belgium – particularly the first half hour when Denmark started well – was incredible.
It’s been such a difficult week for those players and to come out and play like that was brilliant, we felt goosebumps when they scoring the opening goal.
Have the Netherlands turned a corner? It sounds like it – they’ve qualified for the the knockout stages of the European Championships for the first time since 2008.
Kevin de Bruyne has also contributed to more goals (2) than any other Belgium player at the tournament. He only needed 45 minutes to work his magic against Denmark.
Another penalty miss! We’re not sure what has happened to everybody, but that’s now four penalties missed from six at Euro 2020 so far.
There are three more games coming your way today, but one you absolutely cannot miss is the late kick-off as England host Scotland at Wembley.
It’s the first time these two face off at a major international tournament for the first time since Euro ’96. And we’re expecting some big challenges.
It would be rude not to suggest Patrik Schick, who scored a brilliant brace in Czech Republic’s opener against Scotland. They face Croatia today.
We’re not sure where you are in the world, but it’s 35 degrees here in Berlin and you should absolutely be in a Biergarten somewhere.
Don’t forget your sun cream!
