There have been no fresh enquires for Ben Chilwell or Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, but Chelsea expect that to change in the final week of the window according to The Athletic.

The Blues haven’t been as busy as first thought, but with the window now in it’s final days this is usually when things start to pick up.

Chelsea are yet to sign anyone, but have agreed a deal with Strasbourg for Mamadou Sarr, with the 19-year-old set to arrive in the summer.

No fresh enquiries for Chilwell or Dewsbury-Hall

It’s no secret Chelsea want to bring in an attacking player, and they have been linked with both Mathys Tel and Liam Delap.

As well as trying to get one or two new faces in Chelsea are also looking to move a number of players on, with Renato Veiga’s loan to move Juventus the only notable outgoing to date.

The Blues are looking to find solutions for the likes of Chilwell, Dewsbury-Hall, Carney Chukwuemeka and Axel Disasi, but so far no exits have materialised.

Both Chilwell and Dewsbury-Hall have been linked with Everton, but the Blues are said to have received nothing more than initial enquiries.

Despite the clock ticking and a lack of potential suitors The Athletic have reported that despite no fresh enquiries for the pair, Chelsea are confident that will change as they have the impression clubs are waiting until late in the window to make decisions.

Chilwell has played just 45 minutes of football this season, and is believed to be on significant wages ,which Chelsea would like to shift, although it’s been reported he’s not prepared to take a pay cut.

Dewsbury-Hall’s situation is strange since he only arrived last summer for £30m, but he’s struggled for regular minutes, and only started his first league game of the season against Wolves last week.

The Blues can’t afford to let the 26-year-old go at the moment given their lack of options in midfield due to Romeo Lavia’s injury issues, and it will be interesting to see what decisions are taken in the final few days of the window.
