At Chivas, many players have worn the shirt with maximum pride and have hoped to one day become a remembered name at the club.
A select group have managed to make history at Chivas thanks to their abundant talent in different facets. Today, we remember those who excelled at putting the ball into the back of the net.
Without further ado, here are the top-five scorers who ever took the pitch for Chivas.
A 71-time Mexico international, Bravo lit it up in his two stints at Chivas, winning three Golden Boots during his time at the club.
Now 40 years old, Bravo came out of retirement last year to sign for Guadalajara’s Leones Negros.
A Chivas legend so respected, they put him on the roster for the 2008 Clausura season and started against Pumas at age 71, becoming the oldest player to ever play in Mexico’s top flight.
Quite fittingly, he was taken off and replaced by the one and only Omar Bravo.
In addition to being one of the top strikers in Chivas history, his 28 goals for the Mexican national team rank 11th all-time.
Galindo is currently Matías Almeyda’s assistant coach at San Jose Earthquakes.
A major part of the Campeonísimo, Gutiérrez helped Chivas win five titles in a six-year span from 1957 to 1962.
