It’s January transfer deadline day!
And there is still a lot to be ironed out. Here are the day’s biggest deals to keep an eye out for.
Possibly the biggest deal set to happen on deadline day, Paris Saint-Germain are said to be keen on taking Dembélé back to France.
Reports have suggested he could move now or for free in the summer, with Barcelona keen on €20m AND a swap deal (Ángel di María and Mauro Icardi have been mentioned) to make things happen on Monday.
Aubameyang is set to leave his Arsenal exile and head to the Camp Nou on loan, though this could depend on Barcelona managing to get Dembélé’s wages off of their books.
If Aubameyang does leave, Arsenal will have freed up a huge chunk of their wage bill. According to AS, Morata is Arteta’s priority, with a loan deal suggested, but Juventus seem reluctant to let him leave this late in the window.
Out of contact at the end of the season, Juventus are now closing in on the Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder.
One north London deal that looks certain to happen is Dejan Kulusevski to Tottenham on loan.
His Juventus team-mate Rodrigo Bentancur could yet follow him, with Spurs now ahead of Aston Villa in the race for the Uruguayan.
Two in, one out?
Ndombele is set to leave Spurs, returning to Lyon on loan, with Les Gones retaining an option to make the move permanent.
Take your pick. A deal for Dan Burn is said to be agreed, while Newcastle still reportedly want Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard, Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah and Aston Villa’s Matt Targett.
It’s going to be a busy one.
This one appears to be on the verge of completion after the Dutchman chose the Toffees over a switch to Crystal Palace.
Will he finally see regular playing time in the Premier League?
The Argentine wonderkid is as good as a Man City player, with the River Plate president basically confirming the switch over the weekend. But we’ll have to wait until next season to see him in England.
“We’ve a full agreement with Manchester City to sell Julian. The deal is done,” Jorge Brito said. “He’s going to stay on loan here at River Plate until July 7.”
Wolves? Crystal Palace? Burnley? The Welshman isn’t wanted at Juventus and a Premier League return has long been mooted, but to who?
Firing Fulham to promotion, Carvalho has attracted some attention and a move to Liverpool has come out of the blue but now looks set to happen.
