There is no doubt that there is a significant difference between the FC Barcelona teams of the last and the current season. Without too many changes in the squad, Hansi Flick has been able to turn the Blaugrana team that was unable to win anything last season into one of the strongest contenders for the three big titles, i.e., La Liga, the UEFA Champions League, and the Copa del Rey.

The upcoming few months will be crucial to ensure the Catalans actually end the season with some piece of silverware in their cabinets. The most immediate test for them for now is the game against Osasuna, which is scheduled to take place at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium tonight.

Ahead of this game, Hansi Flick addressed the customary press conference, in which he talked about different aspects of his Barcelona team.

As Mundo Deportivo has reported, one of the highlights of this presser was the German coach’s satisfaction with the dressing room he has at his command.

Talking about this aspect, the Blaugrana coach commented:

“The players love to train and compete, every single one of them. The atmosphere in the locker room is very good, special. That is the main difference: this locker room is incredible, everyone cares about each other, and everyone feels important in this club or in this project.”

He further went on to express his pride in this Barcelona team:

“We can work well. Obviously, it’s easier if you win than if you lose. We are proud of the team. There is confidence in what we want to do and in our idea—attacking well and defending. We hope to continue like this.”

There is a lot of camaraderie in this Blaugrana squad, which is quite clear whenever they take on the pitch for a game. Hopefully, this good feeling will also translate into silverware for Barcelona as the season arrives in its final few months.
