Some Manchester United fans react as Red Devils mark their 300th away win in the Premier League with victory over Brentford

Manchester United made history with their 3-1 win over Brentford in the Premier League on Wednesday night. The win was the club’s 300th away win in the English Premier League, an exclusive club that we can boast to be a member of.

It was a much-needed win for the Red Devils following consecutive Premier League games where they dropped points. Ralf Rangnick’s side were far from their absolute best but did enough to see off a spirited Bees side.

The win was also a special one for the club’s academy as three of their graduates- Anthony Elanga, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford all found the back of the net.

Elanga gave the Red Devils the lead on the night in the 35th minute. Although Brentford did their best to find an equalizer, it was Man United who struck next thanks to Mason Greenwood in the 62nd minute.

Rashford found the back of the net in the 77th minute to give the visitors breathing space. Ivan Toney pulled one back for Brentford in the 85th minute but there would be no collapse from Man United this time around and they held out for a much-needed win.

The win still sees Man United occupy the seventh spot in the league. But it now puts us two points off West Ham United in the fourth spot with a game in hand. Hopefully, we can now put together a run that will see us qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League.

For now, we take a look at how some fans reacted to the in on Twitter.
