Former Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic is already becoming an increasingly less likely option to replace the recently-dismissed Ivan Juric at Roma according to reports in the German press, as the 42-year-old is currently away on business in the UK.

Roma are on the lookout for a new head coach after the club took the decision to sack Juric after less than two months in charge at the Stadio Olimpico.

Terzic ruled ‘unlikely’ option for Roma

Terzic was one of the names initially linked to the vacant Giallorossi job, alongside the likes of Roberto Mancini, Massimiliano Allegri, Rudi Garcia, Paulo Sousa, Frank Lampard and Graham Potter.

However, according to updates from German outlet BILD, Terzic is ‘unlikely’ to become the next Roma coach. In fact, he is currently in Manchester in the UK to prepare for a talk he is supposed to give in a few days’ time.

Corriere dello Sport meanwhile, suggest that Roma will not rush into a new decision regarding their managerial vacancy, but add that there could be developments within the next 24-48 hours.
