‘Terrible’, ‘That was embarrassing’ – Many Blackburn Rovers fans react to recent events

Many Blackburn Rovers fans have taken to Twitter to react to their side’s 2-0 away defeat to Hull City on Wednesday night.

The Lancashire side were put to the sword by a Tigers side that were buoyed on by the news that their long awaited takeover had been completed.

As a result of this, Rovers’ unbeaten run came to an abrupt end, with Tony Mowbray sure to want his side to bounce back from this setback as soon as possible heading into their next Sky Bet Championship game against Middlesbrough on Monday evening at Ewood Park.

Naturally it didn’t take long for the Blackburn Rovers faithful to react to what they had seen from their side, with many taking to social media to give their views on the performance as a whole.

@Rovers Waiting for the Melts blaming Mowbray here. On paper and not on fifa or FM. It was the most logical team for Mowbray to play. He didn't ask them to not string passes or stupid ficks. They didn't turn up for him. This is on the 10 in blue and white thought

@Rovers Lessons learnt. Don’t tinker with the formation. If travis is out then why not replace with davenport? no one knew their role. Yes ref was shocking but our whole team was awful today. Our attackers have become quite ball greedy recently. No one passing, etc. need to sort it out!
