Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen insists their form will improve despite a mixed start to life under Quique Setién.
Despite starting the Setién era with a 1-0 win over Granada, they have since struggled to beat third division Ibiza and lost to Valencia on Saturday.
But Ter Stegen believes adapting to their new manager will take time and that improvement is only around the corner.
“We have to improve in quite a few areas” he told reporters after the 2-0 defeat to Sevilla.
“These situations happen every season. We have to keep on working hard on what the coach asks of us.
“We can improve and we will. I am optimistic.”
Barcelona next face Leganés on January 30 in the Copa del Rey.
