Women’s Euro 2025 gets underway today and players involved could put themselves in the shop window for a big transfer if they impress during the tournament in Switzerland.
There are potential breakout stars who could attract the interest of Europe’s giants, while others might feel they need a move for the good of their own careers.
Meanwhile, other players are without a club and are playing for their next big contract.
Here, we pick out 10 players who could put themselves in the shop window and attract the transfer interest of Europe’s giants during Women’s Euro 2025.
The 19-year-old striker returns to Arsenal this summer after an impressive loan-spell at Brighton.
Despite her high potential, the competition for forward spots at the Gunners is fierce with players like Alessia Russo and Beth Mead at the club.
Michelle Agyemang is unlikely to start at the Euros but could make an impact as a ‘super-sub’ during the tournament.
Given the level of competition at Arsenal, rival clubs could look to use that to their advantage and attempt to make a transfer for Agyemang if she has an impressive Women’s Euro 2025.
Agyemang’s potential and age might make Arsenal prioritise a loan move again for the 19-year-old if they don’t feel she can get regular starts next season.
The German forward is one of the most established names on this list after scoring 28 goals in 67 appearances for Germany.
She also has played a big part in Bayern Munich’s domestic success over recent years, scoring 41 goals in 155 appearances.
Klara Buhl has reportedly attracted the interest of European giants including Arsenal and Barcelona.
Bayern are determined to keep hold of Buhl. However German publication BILD last December reported last season that she is likely to leave the club this summer.
Another Germany star who could be on for a move this summer is 25-year-old Selina Cerci.
The Hoffenheim forward enjoyed her best season to date scoring 16 goals in 20 appearances.
Hoffenheim’s mid-table status might tempt Cerci to leave the club should a Champions League club come in for her services.
A move away would potentially be suitable for her career growth. Especially when the competition for places in the Germany squad is as fierce as it is.
There are two free-agents on this list, the first is Amanda Ilestedt, who recently left Arsenal after her contract expired.
The 32-year-old saw her appearances limited during the 2024-25 season and faces a challenge to start for Sweden at Euro 2025.
However, the defender’s last major international tournament saw her score four goals for Sweden at the 2023 World Cup.
As a free agent she is likely to attract interest from clubs in Europe and the National Women’s Soccer League in the United States. The quality of those teams could depend on her performances at Euro 2025.
The second free agent is Sophie Ingle, who recently left Chelsea and has attracted the interest of clubs including Paris Saint-Germain.
Ingle was named in the Wales squad despite not playing since September following an ACL injury.
However, Ingle was determined to play for Wales in their first-ever major international tournament. It remains to be seen though how much involvement Ingle will have this summer.
Ingle and Wales are in a difficult Group D alongside England, France and the Netherlands. However, a good tournament for Ingle on her return could open the eyes of more clubs over a potential move.

The 22-year-old midfielder looks to have a big future ahead of her after some impressive displays for club and country.
Andreia Jacinto topped passing charts in Spain last year and could enjoy a breakout tournament on the international scene this summer.
She might seek a club offering more prominence or a chance to compete for titles, with Real Sociedad currently a mid-table side in Spain’s Liga F.
Carrie Jones was named as one of our young players to watch at Women’s Euro 2025 this summer.
The 21-year-old made her international debut at the age of 15 years and 359 days in August 2019.
After four years in the WSL with clubs including Manchester United, Leicester, and Bristol City, she made the surprising move to IFK Norrkopring in Sweden last year.
Jones offers a lot of versatility as she can play in midfield, on the wing, or even up-front. That sort of versatility might just alert WSL clubs, especially if she impresses at the Euros.
Manchester United forward Melvine Malard has already been linked with French giants Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
Malard, who joined the Red Devils in 2023, is contracted with the WSL side until 2027.
However, reports claim she could be interested in a return to France during the summer transfer window.
A big tournament for Malard might alert other clubs, though Manchester United might put up a fight to retain the 25-year-old.
Fiorentina’s Emma Severini is a player who has always appeared destined to head towards the top of European football.
The 21-year-old was voted the best midfielder in Italy last season, playing the most successful through balls in the Italian top-flight.
Giulia Dragoni’s injury means Severini is more likely to start for Italy this summer on the left of a midfield trio.
Severini is a player who could enjoy a breakthrough tournament and attract the interest of bigger clubs across Europe.
Another player from our list of 10 young players to watch at Women’s Euro 2025.
Ellen Wangerheim has scored 10 goals in 10 league games in 2025. Her movement, pace and excellent finishing ability has drawn comparisons to Arsenal’s Stina Blackstenius.
Wangerheim is already attracting the interest of WSL sides Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City.
A strong Euro 2025 showing could lead to a major transfer for the promising 20-year-old forward.
According to top UK betting sites, Spain are favourites to win Women’s Euro 2025 at odds of 2/1.
England, France, and Germany are among the other expected contenders to lift the trophy on July 27th.
The tournament gets underway today with Iceland vs Finland, before hosts Switzerland take on Norway.
