New Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is yet to make a final decision on Marcus Rashford.
But The Sun says United staff have urged Ten Hag to keep faith in under-performing Rashford as the Dutchman takes over at Old Trafford.
United have endured a difficult season, slumping down the table despite exciting moves in the transfer market. And it's been a tough campaign for Rashford, who hasn't been able to find his feet since the Euros last summer.
However, staff at the Red Devils, including Ralf Rangnick, will try to convince Ten Hag to keep Rashford. Staff who have watched Rashford in training are convinced he still has a bright future ahead of him.
It's believed that Ten Hag is looking for a strike partner for Cristiano Ronaldo, who has already been reassured he's part of the Dutchman's plans.
Rashford's current United deal runs until next summer, and despite not wanting to leave his boyhood side, he could leave in pursuit of first-team football.
