Ten Hag refuses to return to Ajax
Ajax reached out to Erik ten Hag for a possible return as head coach, according to Dutch media reports. However, the 55-year-old manager has turned down the offer.

Ajax dismissed John Heitinga last week after a rocky start to the season. The club has been searching for a new coach and hoped to persuade Ten Hag, who enjoyed tremendous success in Amsterdam before departing for Manchester United.
According to NOS and AD, Ten Hag did hold talks with sporting director Alex Kroes, but concluded the conditions were not right for a successful partnership. He has therefore declined. The coach also recently turned down Wolverhampton, after being dismissed by Bayer Leverkusen just two matches into his tenure.
