Erik ten Hag provided an injury update at his press conference this afternoon ahead of Monday night’s Premier League clash against Crystal Palace.

Manchester United have had a horrid spell with injuries this season and Ten Hag will be without key personnel yet again when the Reds travel to Selhurst Park.

With United completely out of the race for Champions League qualification, the focus is now on the FA Cup final plus qualifying for the Europa League.

Ten Hag told reporters that Scott McTominay has yet to train this week, but he is expected to return to training on Saturday, giving him two days to prepare for Monday night’s clash.

There was a further blow to the team with news that Bruno Fernandes picked up a knock against Burnley and is considered a doubt to face Palace.

The manager also confirmed that Jonny Evans is back in full training, while Martial is taking part in lighter sessions than the rest of the squad.

Ten Hag said, as quoted by the Manchester Evening News: “Scott didn’t train so far this week but I expect him back in training on Saturday and we have to see if he’s 100% available or for a part of the game.

“After the game (vs Burnley), we had an issue with Bruno. He is a doubt for Monday, we all know Bruno, never rule him out for any game. He will do his best to be available.

“Jonny Evans returned today for team training. Tomorrow we are off and then two days until the game. Martial was partly in team training.”

On another note, Marcus Rashford’s issue has not healed since the FA Cup semi-final win over Coventry City.
