Starting XI announced at St Mary's Stadium.

Jesse Marsch has selected the same starting line-up this afternoon following our 2-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers, in the first match of the 2022/23 Premier League season.

The team face Southampton today, with Illan Meslier starting in goal at St Mary's Stadium and Rasmus Kristensen, Robin Koch, Diego Llorente and Pascal Struijk supporting in defence.

Marc Roca and Tyler Adams continue in the midfield with Rodrigo and our captain Patrick Bamford ahead, whilst Jack Harrison and Brendan Aaronson cover the wings.

Adam Forshaw and Luis Sinisterra make it into the squad today after recovering from recent injuries, whilst Dan James also features on the bench after completing his suspension.

Today's substitutes bench also consists of goalkeeper Kristoffer Klaesson, Mateusz Klich, Sam Greenwood, Crysencio Summerville, Leo Hjelde and Cody Drameh.
