Team News: Tottenham Hotspur receive boost as Davinson Sanchez, Cristian Romero, Giovani Lo Celso, and Emerson Royal could feature vs Newcastle United

The North London club picked up a much-needed victory against Aston Villa before the international break and sit in a respectable 8th position in the table– just two points off 4th placed Manchester United.

However, on Sunday, they could face a different animal in Newcastle United, who have recently been boosted by their £300million takeover by the Saudi-backed Public Investment Fund.

The crowd could be roaring at St. James’ Park, and it could be a challenge for Nuno Espirito, who has only won 1 out 3 away games this season.

But in what could be a huge boost for the Portuguese boss, the South American contingent of Giovani Lo Celso, Emerson Royal, Davinson Sanchez, and Cristian Romero could be fit and available for selection to face the Magpies on the weekend.

All four members were called up for international duty by their respective countries, and their fixture schedule made it hard to gauge whether they would be available for the weekend game.

However, it has now been revealed that the four players will be playing their respective games on Thursday night as well as on Friday morning but will travel back immediately. As per the rules that will allow them to face the Toon Army on Sunday, they will stay at Spurs lodge in Enfield.
