Team News: Leeds United Women vs Chorley Women | OneFootball

Leeds United Women begin their FA WNL Division One North campaign this afternoon as they welcome Chorley Women to Garforth.

Ahead of kick off at the Bannister Prentice Stadium boss Simon Wood has named his starting XI, notably handing competitive debuts to Academy goalkeeper Katie Mortimer and new signings Alayna Millard and Chloe Dixon.

Millard starts in defence alongside skipper Shauna Legge and Darcie Greene, with Rebekah Bass also making her long-awaited return from injury.

A midfield trio of Alice Hughes, Ellie White and Kath Smith are deployed in the engine room, supporting attackers Dixon, Macy Ellis and last season’s Player of the Year Amy Woodruff.
