Tanguy Ndombele agress to join OGC Nice | OneFootball

According to Foot Mercato, Tanguy Ndombele (27) has agreed to join OGC Nice, following the termination of his contract at Tottenham Hotspur.

Upon his return spell from Galatasaray, former Olympique Lyonnais midfielder Ndombele had a decision to make. The Frenchman was out of the equation at Tottenham, and with just one year remaining on his contract with the Premier League side, the decision was made to mutually terminate his contract. As a result, five years after joining Spurs for a then-club record fee of €62m, Ndombele was available for free.

The former OL midfielder, who became a free agent just two days ago, rejected big offers from clubs in Europe, as well as in Saudi Arabia in order to reach an agreement with Nice, according to Foot Mercato. He looks set to sign a two-year deal with Les Aiglons after new sporting director Florian Maurice and new manager Franck Haise validated the signing.
