Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga has joined FC Augsburg on loan for the season.
The centre-back, who can also play right-back, briefly broke into the Spurs first team under José Mourinho but has struggled for playing time since his departure from the club and has not featured in any of Ange Postecoglou’s squads so far this season.

According to reports, Augsburg will have a €6m option to make the move permanent.
