ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

This should be a good move for the defender.

The Dutchman needs to keep earning experience and doing so in the Sky Bet Championship is certainly something that plenty of players would jump at being offered.

It’s a really good level and we’ve seen the likes of Harvey Elliott and Harry Wilson do well in the second tier, so let’s hope Sepp can build on last season if and when he gets that move.
