“Talks on” – Chelsea ‘waiting’ for key player ‘to communicate his decision’ | OneFootball

Chelsea are waiting for one of their key players to make his decision on his future at the club, according to reports this morning.

The club could potentially be losing three key squad members in the summer on free transfers, and they aren’t just key squad players, they’re regulars in the starting line up.

Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, and Cesar Azpilicueta have contracts running out this summer, and it is the latter the club captain, who we are reading important updates on this morning.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Azpilicueta is in talks to sign with Barcelona as a free agent, and he can agree a pre-contract with them anytime now.

The Spanish giants have a proposal on the table for him, and Chelsea are waiting for their captain to communicate his decision to them.

It’s not a great situation for Chelsea to be in at all, especially being the club captain.
