As reported by L’Est Eclair, talks between ex-St Étienne right-back and current free agent Mathieu Debuchy and newly-promoted to Ligue 1 club ESTAC Troyes have broken down over an inability to find a financial middleground.
Debuchy confirmed to the local outlet that whilst there were contacts and that the project was interesting to him, talks were brought to an end by ESTAC.

Debuchy, 35, would like to join another Ligue 1 side before retirement, after his deal with Les Verts expired last month.
