Taking a closer look at Oracle Park

San Francisco's Oracle Park is the next venue on the Soccer Champions Tour. Real Madrid's second pre-season game will take place at this stadium, as they take on Club América (Wednesday, 4.30am CEST; Tuesday, 7.30pm local time). It will be the first time our team will play at this stadium, which was opened in 2000 and hosts the San Francisco Giants' baseball games.

With a capacity of 42,300, Oracle Park was named Sports Business Journal's Sports Facility of the Year in 2008. The stadium also occasionally hosts sports games other than baseball. Club America played a friendly game in this stadium against Manchester City in 2011.

San Francisco Real Madrid are already familiar with the North American city after visiting on the 2010 tour. Their opponents will, in fact, be the same as in that pre-season. Our team won 3-2 against the Mexicans and will be looking to get a positive result again.
