Take the Real Madrid and the Spanish Association Against Cancer Challenge | OneFootball

The 4th of February is World Cancer Day. One in three women and one in two men around the world will experience this disease in their lifetime. Real Madrid and the Spanish Association Against Cancer have come together to take on a challenge: to raise 60,036 euros in order to continue their research. The challenge will take place at Real Madrid's home game against Valencia this Thursday at 9pm at the Santiago Bernabéu. Every fan who attends the stadium will have the opportunity to donate 1 euro.

Increased survival rate Cancer is the biggest social and health problem in the world. The current survival rate continues to grow: in women it's 61.7% and in men it's 55.3%. The Spanish Association Against Cancer and Real Madrid have therefore joined forces to appeal to society at large to increase research and reach a 70% survival rate by the year 2030. We'll all be playing together in this match to stand up against cancer.
