There are both tactical and financial issues with AC Milan’s pursuit of Inter target Paulo Dybala, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the delay to Inter’s signing of Paulo Dybala does leave the door open for other clubs to make an offer for the former Juventus forward.

The Nerazzurri need to make room for him in the wage budget and in the squad. AC Milan are very interested in him but a deal would not be straightforward.

The Rossoneri would almost certainly not be able to reach the figures that Inter have currently offered to the player, €5 million per season as well as a bonus linked to appearances.

The other issue is that AC Milan need an attacking midfielder to play behind Olivier Giroud but Paulo Dybala is still seen more as a second striker which he wouldn’t be able to be at AC Milan.
