With a seven-point lead and three games in hand, it’s fairly certain Barcelona will walk away with the Primera Iberdrola title once again.

However, the fight for second place and a spot in the Champions League remains a tight contest.

After matchday 19, Levante occupy second place with 38 points after a 1-1 draw with Rayo Vallecano.

Just one point behind sits Real Madrid who are third following a 3-1 win over Valencia thanks to a three-minute hat-trick from Kosovare Asllani.

Atlético Madrid and Madrid CFF are also in the running with both teams sitting on 35 points.

The race for the title in Germany is down to two clubs: Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg.

Five points separate either side with Bayern leading the way.

Wolfsburg’s last match, a 3-2 win over fourth-place Potsdam, was a crucial result in terms of retaining their title. The weather also made for some pretty insane scenes.

Bayern’s 7-1 thumping over Meppen on 7 February extended their perfect season so far.

These two sides don’t face each other until May so every match until then will be vital.

Additionally, third place Hoffenheim could make a push for second place with only a six-point gap in their way.

After celebrating a milestone this weekend, current holders Juventus lead the way in Italy with a three-point lead over Milan.

Sassuolo sit in third and with a few right results could find a way to slide into second.

As a result, any dropped points could prove to be catastrophic for the top two.

Earlier this season Juventus handed Milan their only loss so far and these two sides meet again on March 7 for another top-table clash.

PSG maintain an unbeaten record – fourteen games played; 13 wins; one draw – whereas Lyon are 13-0-1 (their only defeat coming at the hands of the club from the capital).

These two sides go head-to-head on March 13 in what will prove to be a deciding match in terms of the title.
