In voting that took place on Friday evening, and was concluded just before midnight, the former Arsenal player narrowly missed out to the old white dude in her bid to become the first female president in the women’s Bundesliga.
In the end, Kutzmutz’s team won almost all board positions in the election. Ulrike Häfner and Uwe Reher received majorities for the role of joint Vice-President. Ex-Turbine player, Stefanie Draws, will be the new treasurer. Gordon Engelmann, Susanne Lepke and Rick van Riemsdijk were elected as assessors.
Kutzmutz took over as president in 2015 but Turbine Potsdam have failed to win anything in that time, heading now towards a decade without a trophy.
