Watch both Celtic FC Women manager Fran Alonso and midfielder star Anna Filbey speaking at today’s Media Conference ahead of tomorrow evening’s must win watch for the Hoops against theRangers at Celtic Park.

Alonso is delighted that his young side is getting the opportunity to play in Paradise for the first time and another win over the Ibrox outfit would bring Celtic right back into the title mix. Currently the Hoops are 5 points adrift of joint leaders theRangers and Glasgow City – with these two meeting soon. So if Celtic can collect the points again in the Glasgow Derby it’s game on for a league challenge.

“This is going to be my second Glasgow Derby,” Alsonso said. “The first one was unbelievable and I still remember the feeling after the game. I expect a very special game and hopefully with the same result as last time with three points for Celtic.

“Last time we were very good. We were very organised and executed the game plan to perfection. It’s going to be difficult but we like a challenge and we’re coming into this game in a great state of mind.”

“We want to win every single game. Tomorrow we have the ambition to take all three-points. We’re not going to be intimidated by any opposition, although we respect them and know they are very good. Success, when you represent Celtic, is winning and second is not good enough.

“I anticipate a very good football game. Both sides have a lot of quality players, both like to play good quality football and the pitch is perfect.”

“They are very excited. We have some 16-year-old girls who have never been there and it’s going to be a very special moment for them that they’ll never forget. Some of our players have already played there so they know what to expect. We are all really excited about the opportunity.

“It’s a very good day for women’s football and I love the fact it will be shown live on BBC. It’s great for the women’s game that this game is going to be played at Celtic Park.”

Celtic go into tomorrow’s Glasgow Derby on a high after a fine 5-1 win away to Spartans.
