Swansea City's Joël Piroe shuts down rumours of Leicester City switch | OneFootball

The rumour mill has linked Swansea City attacker Joël Piroe with an upcoming move to Leicester City.

However, when asked about the murmurs, the 22-year-old denied any talk of making the jump to the Premier League at the moment.

“No, I haven’t heard anything about that,” he said. “Of course, you always want to reach the top. As a professional player, that should be everyone’s ambition.”

“But I just want to enjoy the moment I am in right now. Swansea is perfect for me because I am doing what I always wanted.

“I’ve settled really well in Swansea. The people here who work for the club, everybody around it. They have welcomed me really well and the same goes for the players.

“It has made it feel like home, even in such a short time. Even the weather is not too bad at the minute so I cannot complain.”

The news is welcome for Swansea fans, who will hope the in-form attacker sticks around with 12 goals and four assists to his name already in 22 games so far.
