After 18 months at West Ham, André Ayew is heading back to Swansea.

The two clubs have come to an agreement over a fee, which is in the region of £18-20m, according to the BBC’s David Ornstein.

The Ghana forward will re-unite with his brother Jordan, who joined the Swans last summer from Aston Villa.

Ayew scored six league goals for West Ham last season but he has struggled to establish himself as a key player under new manager David Moyes.

And the arrival this week of Portugal playmaker João Mário rendered Ayew even more dispensible.

His lone season at Swansea in 2015/2016 was his most successful in English football and Ayew will hope to recover that form in a familiar environment.
