Svilar not in a hurry to renew Roma contract

Roma are reportedly calm regarding Mile Svilar’s contractual situation.

The capital club have been in talks with the Serbian goalkeeper’s entourage for some time now, with the objective of securing an extension plus a salary adjustment until 2029 or 2030.

However, as things stand, there is no agreement between the parties.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma remain hopeful about a positive conclusion to the talks.

In the meantime, the newspaper reports that Mile Svilar is also not in a hurry to renew his contract and does not intend to cause any problems to the club that put him on the pedestal and gave him a chance to compete at the highest level.

The goalkeeper is currently on holiday in Antwerp and is expected back at Trigoria for preseason in July.
