Bayern Munich have confirmed that goalkeeper Sven Ulreich has signed a contract extension at the club until 2023.
Ulreich has so far made 78 competitive appearances for Bayern, eight of which have come this season.
“FC Bayern has become like a family over the years,” the 33-year-old told the club’s official website.
“I look forward to another year here. I enjoy the task behind a world goalkeeper like Manuel Neuer, we have a friendly, collegial relationship with each other.”
Ulreich’s extension casts doubt over Alexander Nübel’s chances of returning to play for Bayern next season, with the 25-year-old currently on loan at Monaco.
