Chris Sutton makes his North London Derby prediction ahead of Arsenal vs Tottenham

BBC Sport’s football expert Chris Sutton has made his North London derby prediction ahead of the game this Saturday. The BBC man believes the Gooners will win 3-2 against Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal sit on top of the table, having lost only one game so far this season in the league. While Tottenham are third with only a point less and are yet to lose in the league.

Both sides have been in good form and this Saturday’s game could be a very interesting one. Though Sutton can make his predictions, we are inclined to disagree with the football expert.

The rivalry between the two north London neighbours has been historic. This derby is one of the most famous and fiercest in the world.

Despite the Gooners having a considerable advantage over us in the total head-to-head, that does not mean Antonio Conte’s men will go down without a fight. The two clubs have met 191 times, with the Gooners winning 79 and Spurs winning 61. 51 games have ended as a draw.

Spurs fans will expect a win and rightly so. Their players were in exceptional form during the recent international break and Conte will hope that his players can continue their such form at the Emirates too.

Harry Kane has scored 13 goals against Arsenal.

Heung-min Son seems to be back to his old form and Conte will hope that the Korean can get on the scoresheet again. Harry Kane, the Spurs talisman has scored 13 goals against his arch-rivals and will hope to add to that tally again this week.

A win this Saturday and favourable results elsewhere could help Spurs finish at the top of the table this week. Fans will hope for a repeat of the last encounter when Spurs won 3-0 against the Gooners at home last season.
