Surreal for Gers as two Rangers face legal matters

In a curious oddity, two Rangers players will be appearing in court in the late spring, after Glen Kamara was called up as a witness in Ondrej Kudela’s appeal in April, to add to Jack Simpson’s appearance for alleged dangerous driving in May.

Kamara’s racism nightmare continues unabated, with the Czech having been banned but appealing the decision, and his defence want Kamara as a cross witness, meaning Rangers’ Fin still has to deal with this nonsense for a bit of time yet.

And with Jack Simpson’s appearance for alleged dangerous driving, it adds up to a bit of a strange time for Rangers with two players dealing with serious legal matters.

We do hope Glen’s attention won’t be too focused on it, and he’ll keep it out of his mind and get on with his life as much as he can, but it clearly is a distraction he could do without. We wish him the best on it.

As for Simpson, transfer talk has gone cold and he seems set to stay, so for now he’ll just have to deal with his date with the law, and let the truth out on that matter.

Weird times.
