Denzel Dumfries has started this Serie A season on a mission.

The Inter man has popped up with another goal for his side, who are in the midst of a perfect start in the league, winning their first six games.

Dumfries found himself one-on-one with his marker in the dying moments of the first half of Inter’s Serie A showdown with Sassuolo Wednesday evening.

After sizing up his man, the wing-back sent a low, driven shot into the back of the net to bring the home crowd to their feet once again.

The goal sees Dumfries become the first defender to contribute more than one goal and provide more than one assist in the big-five European leagues this season, according to Opta (two each).

Despite hitting the squad list as a defender, the Dutchman proves to be more than worth his salt in the attacking half of the pitch.
