Unlikely as it seems, Bayern Munich are being linked with a surprise move for two players from Paris Saint-Germain.
Having defeated the Parisians in the Champions League final last month, the German champions are now apparently considering a move for two of their players.
Bavarian outlet TZ report that the pair in question are both German internationals, namely Thilo Kehrer and Julian Draxler.
Despite their successful start to the season in winning their Bundesliga opener 8-0 and then lifting the Super Cup, they remain on the lookout for reinforcements.
Both would fit the profile of what Bayern are looking for, particularly given their versatility to slot into various positions if required.
In addition, L’Equipe also state that PSG are happy to sell both players this summer if they receive reasonable offers, with the club seeking to fill a €60 million hole in their balance sheets.
Germany boss Joachim Löw recently took a public shot at Draxler for how he has let his career stagnate in recent years in Paris.
For Kehrer, the addition of Alessandro Florenzi at PSG makes things even more difficult for him at the Parc des Princes.
Despite how appealing both moves would be on paper, financially it seems very complicated for Bayern, who would be unable to match Draxler in particular’s reported weekly wage of €370,000.
