Super Falcons: Rinsola Babajide arrives in Italy and signs for AS Roma

Rinsola Babajide officially joined AS Roma on July 14, 2025. The Nigerian international arrived from Spanish side Tenerife and signed a three-year contract with the Italian club.

AS Roma's management continues its strategy of strengthening its women's team ahead of the 2025-2026 season. Just a few hours ago, the Italian club announced the arrival of Rinsola Babajide. "AS Roma is pleased to announce the signing of Omorinsola Omowunmi Ajike Babajide, known as Rinsola Babajide. The player has signed a contract that will keep her at the club until June 30, 2027," wrote the Serie A side.

Born in England, Rinsola Babajide first wore the colors of Crystal Palace, Millwall, Watford, Liverpool, then Brighton & Hove Albion. After her spell in the Women’s Super League, the 27-year-old continued her development in Spain with a notable stint at Real Betis, followed by a solid season at Tenerife.
