Super Cup Final: Chelsea vs Villarreal – Predicted Blues Xl | OneFootball

Chelsea have a chance to win some European silverware before the domestic season has even began as they take part in the Super Cup final this evening vs Villarreal.

Both sides will be keen to lift a trophy at these early stages – it will be great for confidence, morale, and momentum.

Thomas Tuchel has hinted that some of the players who featured right until the end of the Euros, are unlikely to start at least tonight.

So with this in mind, I have attempted to form some sort of predicted Xl, as impossible as that might seem under the circumstances.

We are likely to see the usual 3-4-3 formation that Tuchel has been using last season and in pre-season.

I realise it isn’t our strongest line up, but going by Tuchel’s words above, this might not be too far off the starting line up with others coming on later for minutes.

Asenjo, Pedraza, Torres, Albiol, Foyth, Capoue, Trigueros, Morlanes, Yeremy, Moreno Niño.
