The speculation surrounding Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland never seems to end.
And it went into overdrive over the weekend, with BVB officials giving their two cents on the saga.
Sporting director Michael Zorc admitted that the Norway international could leave under “certain conditions”, which was understood to mean a €75m release clause that kicks in next summer.
And then CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke told Bild that Real Madrid are “very interested” in acquiring the 21-year-old.
However the final word went to the player’s representative, Mino Raiola.
The super agent gave a wide-ranging interview to Dutch station NOS, which inevitably touched on Haaland’s future plans.
“I don’t rule out that he stays at Dortmund for another year,” Raiola said.
There you have it then. Clear as mud!
