Mamelodi Sundowns made a successful debut at the Super World Club Championship. On Tuesday evening, the South African team faced Ulsan Hyundai from South Korea and, with a goal from Rayners, won 1-0.

With this result, Mamelodi earns their first three points, capitalizes on the draw between Fluminense and Borussia Dortmund, and takes the lead in Group F. In the next round, the African team will face Dortmund, while Ulsan will attempt to recover against Flu.

Mamelodi Sundowns dominated the game in Orlando. With an aggressive stance, the South African team took the initiative and cornered Ulsan, who were limited to counter-attacks. Without success.

Not giving any chances to the South Korean side, Mamelodi accelerated the pace and could have gone into the break with a significant lead. At 28 minutes, after a corner kick from the right, Rayners deflected at the near post and sent it into the net. It would have been the first goal of the game, but VAR caught a handball in the play. No goal.

Shortly after, Lucas Ribeiro received the ball in the middle, looked up and delivered a beautiful pass to Rayners, who broke into the area and scored past the goalkeeper. This one counted: 1-0.

Before the break, Sundowns also scored a second, again involving Rayners and Lucas Ribeiro, but VAR 'interfered' again and offside was called.

After the interval, Mamelodi Sundowns maintained their dominance and flirted with a second goal, especially with Brazilian player Lucas Ribeiro, but the score remained the same.

As time passed, the South African team slowed down and began managing their lead, while Ulsan Hyundai continued to struggle with their own limitations.

In the final minutes, the Asian team attempted a comeback, but it was not enough. At 80 minutes, Lacava was launched on the right, broke into the area and shot for a great save by Williams. On the rebound, Erick Farias, tried to finish, but the defense cleared it.
