Terell Thomas

Sunderland are among the clubs who are interested interested in a move for the AFC Wimbledon defender, according to The Daily Mail.

The 25-year-old is facing an uncertain future with the League One club after entering the final few weeks of his contract at Plough Lane, meaning that he could be set to leave the club for nothing in the next few weeks.

Lee Johnson’s side are reportedly being joined by Blackburn Rovers and Barnsley who are also keen on a move for the player who has featured 90 times for AFC Wimbledon since joining the club in 2018.

Charlie Wyke

Sunderland remain in talks with the striker over a new deal, despite receiving contract offers from elsewhere.

Reports from the Northern Echo have claimed that Celtic, Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough have all submitted offers for the striker who found the net 30 times last season.

Whether he’ll be at the Stadium Of Light next term remains to be seen, but with interest intensifying it means that Sunderland face an uphill battle to convince him to stay.

Ethan Ross

Sunderland are plotting a move for Aberdeen starlet Ethan Ross, according to Football Insider.

The 19-year-old is one of the hottest prospects in Scotland after making 35 senior appearances in his young career so far.

Ross is out of contract in the coming weeks which means that he’ll be available to move on for a nominal fee in just a few weeks’ time, leading to interest from both the Black Cats and Championship club Blackburn Rovers.
