Sunderland have completed the signing goalkeeper Lee Burge after his release from Coventry last month.
Burge has considerable League One experience having made over 100 appearances for the Sky Blues in his eight years at the club.
But the 26-year-old is now a free agent after failing to agree new terms with the Midlands club.
There has been interest from other sides but now it has been confirmed that the shot-stopper will join Jack Ross’ men.
Burge will act as competition to Jon McLaughlin.
