Sunderland are reportedly looking to bolster their attack this summer by moving for non-league hot-shot Josh Koroma.
Koroma burst on to the scene with Leyton Orient last season, scoring 11 goals in their rise to promotion.
Those performances have alerted a number of Football League clubs with both Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest said to be monitoring the situation.
But the Sunderland Echo claim that the Black Cats are now favourites for his signature after agreeing to pay the €600,000 asking price being quoted by the O’s.
