The 24-year-old Irish midfielder followed Jaap Stam from Reading to the Dutch outfit over the summer but has failed to make any sort of impact, making just a pair of first-team appearances.

Since Stam’s dismissal, Kelly has been completely out-of-favour and playing with the U-21s. With his contract running until 2022, Feyenoord are looking to offload his salary as soon as possible.

With Reading, Kelly made 94 appearances and contributed nine goals and nine assists.
