🎥 Sunderland fans have taken over London ahead of Checkatrade final

Sunderland will go to Wembley for the seventh time in their history on Sunday.

The Black Cats face Portsmouth in the Checkatrade Trophy final and will make the pilgrimage to the home of the English game for the first time since 2014.

Sunderland are a completely different club since the one that lost to Manchester City that day.

A catalogue of bad decisions, at boardroom level and on the pitch, have seen them slip down to League One.

But under the stewardship of Jack Ross this term, the north east giants are on the verge of promotion and have revitalised the entire city.

And it seems like almost the entire population of Sunderland have travelled south to take over Trafalgar Square on Saturday night.
